Radiographic testing
The mechanism of image formation is associated with the different absorption of radiations in the piece in function of the thickness variation, of the material’s composition, of discontinuity’s precence.
This difference is noticed according to the degree of blackening that the radiographic film receives following the appropriate development.
Rovergamma has a mobile laboratori able to optimize the execution/check result times.
We have the following equipment:
- Equipment RX with directional beam “Balteau spot” with maximum penetration’s capacity equal to about 600mm of steel
- Equipment RX with directional beam “Gilardoni MLG 200/8 with maximum penetration’s capacity equal to about 60mm of steel
- N.2 Equipments of Gammagraphic source “Ir 192” (maximum cherge 60ci)
